Gavin was born and raised in Maine. Outside of performing, he is an avid music lover, writer, singer, rock climber, and runner.
The Hartt School
Over the past four years, Gavin has been a part of the Hartt School's BFA Actor Training program at the University of Hartford. Highly skilled in multiple theatrical performance techniques, Gavin uses a combination of Meisner, Stanislavski, Viewpoints, Laban, Suzuki, Droznin Neutral Mask, and Tai Chi to create raw and vibrant performances.
Known for his bold and commanding presence, he has performed in various roles, most recently in the part of a USS Indianapolis sailor adrift at sea in the USS riveting new play In the Soundless Awe, written by Jayme McGhan and Andy Pederson. Other notable performances under Gavin's belt include Vershinin in Anton Checkhov's Three Sisters and Touchstone in Shakespeare's abridged version of As You Like It.

Other work
Extensively trained in on-camera performance, Gavin has ascertained lead roles in numerous short films. One of his most memorable performances was starring in the title role of Johny in the dystopian dramedy of the same name, Johny- the story of an executioner with an inner desire to dance.
In the short Cue Catastrophe, Gavin also shined in the role of Max, a desperate filmmaker trying to stay awake for 72 hours while simultaneously directing a movie. Supporting roles include Beau in the short End Of Cult and as a weed-smoking rapping degenerate son Jin in The Most Precious Thing.

Life as he knows it
Very much an outdoorsy kind of guy in his personal life; Gavin enjoys spending his time hiking, rock climbing, traveling, drawing, and painting. He has also been known to give pretty fun tattoos now and again.
